Media: good and bad

Recently I've been busier with the media than I'm generally used to. I was interviewed by Red Herring for a digital forensics piece, but unfortunately the article is mostly wrong (it doesn't even put me working for the correct university). Whatever. It appears here (fix up the URL wrapping):

http://www.redherring.com/Article.aspx?a=11954&hed=Gitmo+for+Hard+Drives§or=Industries&subsector=SecurityAndDefense

I've also been contacted by a Kentucky newspaper on a local (theirs) digital forensics issue and went war driving with FOX 8 news. The most positive thing about all of this is that a few people, with whom I had lost touch for dozens (or more) years, saw the broadcast, looked me up, and, well, that's pretty cool.

Next stop: a talk on digital forensics to local high school guidance counselors. Do we want more competition? :)
